Track down this 2018 – it’s bursting with exuberant black fruit, espresso, truffles, grilled blueberries, liqourice and Pomerol lushiousness. This 9ha estate that has been owned by the Vayron since 1840 is one to savour.

The 2018 Bourgneuf is positively stellar. Silky, nuanced and so full of character, the 2018 impresses with its total finesse. Silky tannins and beautifully lifted aromatics give this mid-weight Pomerol so much class. Lavender, spice, mint, dried herbs and a touch of new oak are all laced into a core of inky blue/purplish berry fruit. This is another stellar effort from a château that has been seriously on the rise over the last few vintages.
